We are pleased to invite you to the interactive online course "Don't Touch Me... Yet!"
This course is designed for dogs that struggle with accepting touch—whether during a judge's examination in the show ring, veterinary visits, grooming, or interactions with unfamiliar people. It is ideal for show dogs that show discomfort during examination, as well as for young dogs beginning their show career whose handlers want to build confidence and prevent future problems.
The skills developed during the course extend far beyond the show ring. Many dogs become more relaxed when handled by strangers, calmer during grooming, and more cooperative in veterinary and everyday situations.
The training program combines elements of the SATS methodology developed by Kayce Cover and adapted by Sylwia Matulewska, certified behavior consultant and certified SATS trainer, together with ring-handling techniques developed by Edyta Ossowska, an experienced handling instructor and international FCI dog show judge.
Throughout the course, dogs learn to regulate their emotional responses to touch, while handlers gain practical techniques to build confidence, trust, and positive associations with handling in a variety of situations.
The course includes six weekly live online sessions (1 hour each), plus ongoing support through private Facebook and Messenger groups. Between sessions, participants practice with their dogs, submit training videos, and receive personalized feedback from the instructors.
Each live session includes clear training goals, step-by-step exercises, video demonstrations, and practical criteria to guide your work at home. Recordings remain available in the private Facebook group throughout the course, allowing participants to revisit each lesson at any time.
Places are limited, and enrollment is confirmed upon receipt of payment on a first-come, first-served basis.
Start: August 10, 2026, 7:00 PM CEST (Central European Summer Time)
Course fee: 370 euro
